The shopping list for week three was pretty basic. I had all of the meats and the ingredients in the “may have” column. I had someone ask me if this was adding to my grocery bill. It really is not. I had some of the meat already from my CSA. What I did not have we picked up aat Costco for around $100. This gives us more meat than we need, so we will be able to use that even after this month is over. As far as the produce for each week we have spent under $25 per week so far.

So overall I think it has saved up money and got me to try meats that I would not normally. Pork chops were one that we never buy, so the change was kind of nice. I am hoping overall this is giving me ideas to try things outside of my bubble.
